Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Power TTS Twitch extension and powertts.xyz website (the "Service") handle, and how it is used. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we handle

  • Twitch identifiers (viewers). When you open a Power TTS panel, Twitch provides the extension with identifiers such as an opaque viewer ID and the channel ID. These are used to authorize requests and to enforce per-viewer cooldowns. We do not receive your Twitch password through the extension.
  • Twitch account link (streamers). When a streamer signs in through Twitch, we receive the streamer's Twitch account identifiers in order to link their channel to their settings.
  • Message text. When a viewer sends a message, the text they enter is processed to create the spoken audio, and — where moderation is enabled — shown to the streamer or their moderators for review. Message text is used only to produce and deliver that message and is not used to build a profile of you.
  • Configuration data. The settings a streamer chooses — Bits amount, available effects, cooldown, and moderation preferences — are stored so the Service can function.
  • Usage data. We may collect limited, aggregated event data — such as how often messages are triggered — to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. What we do not collect

We do not process or store Bits payments — Bits are handled entirely by Twitch. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to authorize requests, convert message text to speech, deliver messages to the correct streamer, support the moderation queue, enforce cooldowns, keep the Service secure, and improve how it works. We do not use it for any unrelated purpose.

4. Sharing

The Service operates on the Twitch platform, so some information is necessarily exchanged with Twitch as part of normal operation. To produce speech and run the Service, we use trusted third-party providers — for example, speech synthesis, hosting, and analytics — that process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention

Streamer configuration is kept while you use the Service and removed on request or when no longer needed. Transient data used to run the Service — such as submitted message text, generated audio, recent transaction checks, and cooldown timers — is held only briefly to deliver the message and is not used to build a profile of you.

6. Your choices

Streamers can turn off effects, enable moderation, or disable the panel at any time. Viewers can simply stop using the panel. To request deletion of streamer configuration associated with your channel, contact us using the email below.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users who meet Twitch's minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone who does not meet those requirements.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
